LANGUEDOC "Les LOUPIOTS"

SOIL: Gravel glacis.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Roussanne, Viognier, Vermentiono, Grenache Blanc.

VINIFICATION: Direct pressing and cold clarification. Roussanne and Viognier picked at full maturity and vinified in new french-oak barriques, with stirring of the fine lees. Vermentino and Grencahe Blanc harvested before full maturity and vinified in temperature-controlled tank.

MATURING: Blending of the tank and the casks in January and bottling in March.

TASTING: Pale green in colour with a trenmendously lively citrus peel nose (mandarin orange, lime), white flowers and pear. Lively, tangy, thirst-quenching mouth-feel, with a beautifully fresh aniseed finish. Serve at 12°C. This wine is an ideal aperitif and is also perfect with a platter of shellfish from the Etang de Thau lagoon (where else?!).
