AOP LANGUEDOC "SAINT SATURNIN"

SOIL: Limestone gravel.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Blend of Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Grenache Noir.

VINIFICATION: Destalked harvest. Fruity profile on the Cinsault, with gentle extraction; closed tanks for approximately 15 days.

MATURING: The vintage is assembled in february: Cinsault brings the supple and greedy character, whereas the Mourvèdre and Grenache Noir ensure the flesh of this wine and its keeping potential.

TASTING: Purple-red in colour. Rather deep nose of dark fruit with notes of mint. Long and, rather full mouth with hints of blackcurrant and licorice. The finish is long and pleasant. Serve at 15-17°C with red meat, barbecues and soft cheese.
